Touch of a Little Girl This story is taken from the book "The Voices Within Us" by Jim Stewart
This story was told to me by Barbara Rand.
A friend of her's (Judy) mother was in the hospital and on life support. The Doctors had told her that she was not improving. They suggested removing the life support the next day. The doctors told Judy to get the family and the minister and com in in the morning. The next morning Judy, her 3 year old daughter, her husband and the minister all arrived at the hospital. The doctors were still in the room when the got their. The little girl walked over to her grandmother and said, "Grandma, get up! You are suppose to go home with us." Nothing happened. The family looked at the little girl when again she said,"Get up Grandma! Your are suppose to go home with us." Again nothing happened and again the family, the minister and the doctors just smiled at the little girl. Then the little girl went back over to her grandmother and grabbed her by the hand and said, "Grandma, get up! Jesus said that you were going home with us today!" Grandma opened her eyes and tried to speak. It was difficult because there was a tube in her throat. Then Grandma sat up. Everyone in the room was amazed except the little girl. Yes, she went home later that afternoon with her little granddaughter on her lap.
