A short note to my fans and reading audience as to reasons why I've been missing in action of late. Okay, I admit I’ve been off the radar a bit. It used to be a time when the thought of letting the daily grind of journal writing and blogging to lie dormant for so long was like spiritual death waiting to take its toll. But the writing life is addictive; I relish it with an exhilarating high always close enough to know how much it’s missed if it wasn’t there! Writing will always be the climatic end to foreplay with stimulated vigor. It’s much more than a cliché with banal results for me. I must admit that my plate has been running over with my cup filled to the brim with activity screaming my name! To my chagrin and consternation I found myself at a loss for words to describe not so much the situations...but their effect on me. I carry a notepad and its full of the write stuff and literary lore.
It’s amazing how people can be so uncaring as long as they can get what they demand. This creativity on demand sh** can be exhausting and downright unsavory at times. There’s just not enough time in a day. I wish it was much more than 24 hours, and you can work until oblivion without feeling the pangs of exhaustion. I’m writing more of late, catching up with a few circumstances that passed me by, and getting my essays archived. I’m writing more poetry nowadays too, and will be posting. A friend of mine has been begging and pleading for me to give cyberspace a chance to be privy to this side of my creativity. I think I will.
