Writing about meeting someone via the Internet is one thing. How about actually living out your novel...in a sense? My new novel Rain Song deals with a young woman meeting a man via the Internet. She wants to push him away, yet he keeps entering her life. She even dreams about him.
Years after writing my novel, getting an agent to represent me, and signing a two-book deal with Bethany House, my novel (well, some of it) comes to life! (Also during this time there's a husband who abandons me and the kids, a divorce, and an ex's bipolar diagnosis).
Through an online dating site, I met a man, drove hundreds of miles to meet him, and fell in love. The rest I am living to this day.
