Common questions part 1 Many friends have waiting a long time for Iniquity Rancor. I finished the manuscript in 2003 and went on to edit and with the help of some wonderful friends for what seems like forever. After the heartache of my first publishing house going bankrupt just as my final edit was finished, I shelved it for a while. I lost sight of my goal, which was never to be famous or have a best seller, I just like writing. Sometimes I'm so embarrassed of what I write I can't read it again, or I think it's crap, so on and so forth.
The odd thing is, I'm already getting messages asking me questions about me in general, so I thought I would post answers here.
Q: What the hell are you? A man, woman or what?
A: No, I'm not a man, a transsexual, gay or anything of the sort (not that I have anything against any of these things because I don't)
Q: Then why the name?
A: I love the name George. It was my grandfather's name, my first car's name ('73 Nova SS), and I tried to stick George into all of my kids' long names. I use "Georgie" because my grandfather had 6 girls and no boys, I also won't use my real name to protect my kiddos. P is for Patricia, which is my mother's name. She was killed this past May.
Q: What do you mean by "words are my weapon"?
A: Well, just hope I never have to write a derogatory letter that you have to read. If the matter is something I passionately believe in, I'm pretty good at getting my point across, be it good or bad. I also don't speak much. I find it pointless. Not many people listen to what a small woman has to say. Actually, not many people listen to anyone at all... but that's just my opinion.
Q: Can you put up a better picture of yourself?
A: Why? Would that make you buy my book? (I hope you know I'm sarcastic by now) When I get my short story collection out I actually have a picture for every story. I am my own model. Vanity? No. I was the ugly girl. The point of using myself for the twisted stories I write stems from honoring the human body in general. So many people out there have low self esteem. Your body is the only one you will have in this life. Love it and it will love you back, it doesn't matter what other people think. Men and women, alike, suffer from this.
Q: What does Iniquity Rancor mean??
A: Wicked Hate
Q: Do you worship Satan?
A: Yes......... what the hell kind of question is that? Do you?
