Mission Statement The emergent Middle East Network was launched on 10/02/2005 in Minneapolis, MN immediately after the ACR annual conference.
The primary objective of the network is directed toward promoting a culture of peace and conflict resolution in the Middle East.
The Network seeks to make dialogue, mediation, negotiation and nonviolent conflict resolution processes more readily available to countries in the Middle East.
It seeks to honor religious diversity; tolerance and inter-religious dialogue by working with religious representatives from all religious traditions in the Middle East to design and implement processes which best meet the needs of the culture and faith of the people, transform relations and focus on peacemaking and reconciliation.
