I've decided to start a blog, mainly just talk about what I'm up to. Today, two of my stories were accepted for publication. "Shift Guardian" was picked up by Yellow Mama, and "Lifeless" goes to Bards and Sages. That brings me to eight consecutive responses without a rejection. I've never had anything close to such a streak and very aware of the possibility that tomorrow could bring the first rejection in a new streak.
I didn't write anything today but I've written a total of five short pieces so far this month. I'm reading a Social Psychology text, just because it's cool, and a book on time travel, just because it's cool too. I'm gleaning both text for story ideas, of course. Aside from that, I'm reading short fiction all over the internet.
