Book sales in unusual places....congratulations Lucy! Hello Friends,
Lucy our 18-year-old daughter decided to help her Dad promote: Beyond my Control. Lucy attends a 'special needs' school due to her condition -- epilepsy. Full of enthusiasm she left for school with 30 books! I thought possibly, 2 or 3 copies might be sold. Wrong!
Using her engaging, persuasive nature, she headed for the staff room at lunch time, and sold 22 books! Arriving home with only 8 copies left; a huge smile, and an envelope brimming over (slight exaggeration) of cash!
Naturally, we split the profits 50/50, and we are both a little more than pleased with the result.
