It seems so hard for school systems to accept children with ADHD.  Did you know that these children are yelled at up to 65 times a day!!!  Sometimes impulsive behavior leads to unacceptable behavior in school.  it is so easy to blame the child totally...like he is a bad kid...It is not recognised as a medical dx.  It makes me sad when my son is yelled at...he cant get over it and decides that everyone hates him.  Sometimes yelled at for something as little as throwing a yoga mat on the pile...and then held out of gym because of that...something that children with ADHD need...exercise!!
