Abortion! It Hurts the Heart! It Hurts the Soul! 7/30/2010 5:50:55 PM
Some of my thoughts on abortion after the fact. My experiences still haunt me! I hope that what I've gone through, might help someone not make the same mistakes I made. Do you ever wander if any of your writings have ever helped anyone? I wonder this quite often. My story "No One to Hear Their Cries" was written in a very graphic manner in hopes it would have people stop and think twice about having an abortion. I want people to know what goes on in abortion clinics from someone who knows first hand. I try to tell my stories so the reader can visualize exactly what's going on. I know everyone that has went through an abortion has a story behind it, but when you find yourself holding your aborted baby in the palm of your hand, over a week after the abortion took place...well...it can mess with your mind pretty bad. It was as if my baby was staring back at me! So helpless...so lifeless and I did this horrible thing to my child! I have asked...no that's not right, I have begged God's forgiveness and know in my heart I have received it but I must say, I have never forgiven myself and don't even know if that's possible. My goal is to tell as many people as possible about abortion and how it hurts...not just before or during the abortion but years and years to come. Just when you think it's behind you something can trigger the memory. I pray that if anyone is considering abortion or know of someone who is, please read my book first and see if you feel the same way afterward. I'm not trying to simply make a buck on saying get my book and read it. I would give it away if I could afford to but the truth is, I simply can't.
I didn't believe this was a baby I was aborting all four times, but I know for sure now! God saw to it!
Oh well, I've went on and on enough for now. Just had to speak my heart. I hope each of you who read this, follow your heart as well.
