In case you are unfamiliar with Will Rogers beyond his humor and movies, you need to understand that he was against speculation. We have speculation to thank for prices at the pump. We have speculation to thank for food costs out of control and for the occasional house bubble that proved to be hurtful both in the roaring twenties, and even more so in the time leading up to the price crash of housing last decade.
Don't be fooled, readers, speculation is a legal form of theft, and we are the ones being mugged! Remember, Will Rogers was for the people, and the pundits of today are bought and paid for by the interests they serve.
