We all know the feeling of wrestling with something. We are trying to solve a problem,overcome a difficulty or find an answer to a situation that is extremely perplexing. It's just a part of the human experience. But how many of us have ever wrestled with an angel? Jacob did; it is written in the book of Genesis chapter 32 that on his way back to his father's country facing unknown difficulties and knowing he was inadequate to handle what lay before him, during the night a man wrestled with him until the break of day because Jacob would not let him go. The man was really an angel and Jacob recognized this fact; the angel said to Jacob; let me go, and Jacob said, "I will not let thee go except thou bless me." Genesis 32;26. The angel asked his name and he said, Jacob, the angel said he would no longer be called Jacob, but Israel, which meant he was now a Prince with God. When we make contact with God in any way, we should hold on until the blessing comes.
