Work in progress on Cerberus Conspiracy series. Still struggling with "A falling of Angels". What I've written so far (30,000 words) reads fairly well. The villains are suitably villainous and protesting their innocence with ironic grins at the hero, who knows they are responsible for a gang murder, but can't prove it.
The dystopian description of refugee camps with their lawlessness and casual attitude to life are suitably stomach turning, and the blind behemoth of bureaucracy is busy crushing all before it. Including the shadowy 'good' guys, for a given value of 'good', the Freemen.
At present, my hero is faced with the consequences of helping a brain damaged ex colleague recover, only to find she is better at mind reading than he is.
