Blogs by David Ravenwood Another young innocent person killed 12/21/2013 4:56:10 PMClaire Davis was only 17, and gunned down while at her Colorado High School. I don't understand the people who don't want any more gun control, no matter how many innocent people are killed. I really thought we had a good chance of passing gun legislation after the trajedy at Newtown last year. But the NRA gun lobby twisted the arms of Washington politicians and shot the legislation down: pun intended. How can people continue to care only for their guns when people who did now wrong are killed by an unbalanced person with a gun? What is it going to take to stop the violence? I have heard that some other countries have stronger gun laws. They also have fewer murders. Could this be cause and effect? What do you think?
