Blogs by David Ravenwood Making a decent living for all that work 3/23/2014 12:48:31 PMThere is man with a morning radio show in DFW. He also has a segment on a local Thursday morning TV news show. When asked about whether we should raise the minimum wage from $7.25 to $10.00 per hour, he said we shouldn't raise it; instead we should do away with the minimum wage law. I thought it was easy for him to take that attiude. He makes several times the minimum wage so he would be unaffected by that change. What he didn't say was that people with full time jobs who make $7.25 per hour are living right around the poverty level. I think there's something wrong with working full time and not being able to pay all your bills at the end of the month.
