This new novel continues to develop. I've been doing this a long time, but the actual process is still a mystery. I have a general idea of where I want the story to go, but the details seem to drop out of the sky! I am often, usually, an observer in all this!

I can envision two or three thematic threads but which one actually gets on the page is still unclear. I've learned to trust this strange process and let the challenge of getting the "right words in the right order" determine the overall story.

It's a fascinating experience!
