Writing has often been my personal refuge. When I couldn't solve, or even decipher the challenges in front of me, I turned to my writing. And that's what I'm doing now. I have nearly 20,000 words on the page in this new novel, ELATION. I also just outlined something I've thought about for a lone time: BEAVER TALES. These are stories that come from my three years as a forest ranger and the foreman of a wild land fire fighting crew in the Coconino National Forest in northern Arizona. It's about time I 'walk' this and stop 'talking'...LOL!
