writing I had a long conversation with a friend and fellow writer last night. We both agreed: this writing thing is more than a little strange!
The process simply cannot be pushed or rushed. It all comes when it comes; and we are bound to wait until the 'universe or something' whispers. Then, we write it down as best we can.
That is exactly what happened this past night. I slept little, frustrated because I was stalled with this new novel, ELATION. Then, very early this morning, the story line was clear...I jotted it down in outline, and after I tend to some essential chores, I will be back to work.
