All my eBooks are on Amazon as Kindle eBooks, so why am I making a new website for my eBooks? 

Well, its not because I want a lot of work - finding the correct files (having changed my computer) making internal hyperlinks for all my poems and such like.  I had decided to make PDF eBooks ( see earlier blog ) but something happened which I do not understand and finally galvanised me into action.

In August 2015, contrary to usual sales, I found that on two days, ALL my eBooks had been bought, downloaded and then refunded on Amazon.com. Now, I have no problem with people not liking my books - though in this case there was no time before refund for anyone to read even one book, but why would anyone try them all if they didn't like the first one or two?One of the children's book 'Growing Up' is in two formats - one with pictures and the other without. Both these were downloaded and later returned.

Very few others have returned the books and an they do download correctly. I think it was the same person downloading them all and returning. But why? Can whoever copy the books? Does someone collect books, save to read later, and then get their money back by refunds?

I reported this as a strange happening. Amazon also thought it was worthy of investigation - though they do not report their findings. to me. I thought I would share it.

So, I am converting all my books to PDFs  as well as Kindle eBooks and selling and downloading via ejunkie.com. Then I shall know what is happening.

The Kindle links are remaining at present and the PDFs for iPad and PC are gradually, and I emphasise the 'gradually', being prepared.

I have other things to do with my time and other books to write - but my poems were written with a purpose - to help others. Most are written from my long years as a psychiatrist /psychotherapist, with relevant knowledge and experience.
