Starting out fresh with a Den for my Middle Grade/Teen/YA novels and stories I am not impressed with the choices for categories for blogs. There should be more of them to choose something more suitable. I may write for kids, but are kids going to be reading this? I'm thinking probably not!
Anyway, I've made the split from my romance author den, pen mane Neenah Davis-Wilson, to one to feature my books and stories for middle grade and Teen/YA which I write under my own name. I felt it was a confusing mess. Not sure if I had any reviews for A Purrrfect Napping Spot there or not. I think I did. I'd love to see if I could get those transferred to here. If not . . . well, at least I have reviews for it somewhere.
The Teen/YA novels are not yet published. I'm going to do a proper launch for them. I didn't for Under the Paw because I just wanted to get it up! I will promote the hey out of it though. All of them and two of the short stories are/will be in KindleSelect for now, so exclusive to Amazon. Since that applies only to eBooks, I could also publish the book in print through Draft2Digital or any other place like it. I will decide at a later date what I want to do that way.
I've started to revamp my website, which is a slow process right now. With getting covers for the books and doing edits and rewrites, plus other of life's obligations, it's the last thing that gets my attention. And I have seven websites for different genre and purposes. For instance, two author sites, two publishers sites as I decided I needed an imprint to set the kids/teens apart from the romances. A lefty site, a personal site, and a site for our woodworking and laser crafts business. I'll get to them some day.
I'm looking to launch The Disciplining of Mom by the first of March--or thereabouts. I need to finalize page count so I can get my print cover made. The ebook cover is done. So, really if I wanted to, I could go ahead with the prelaunch it now. So maybe I'll do that.
