ME TO GRANDG' ON TUESDAY: I am only on chap 5 of MPark. It's a brain buster. I had to write down all the people or I can't keep track. I am absolutely plod-ding through pain Janeful Austen this morning. If we started this one first, I might just have burned my first book!
HER: Ha! I just started chapter 3. Maybe I'll get postits to annotate and make notes. So far not a fan of Mrs. Norris. Or anyone really except Fanny and Edmund. Sir Thomas isn't bad tho. But the two sisters constantly bringing up Fanny is stupid … is crazy.
ME: I have made it to chap8. Fanny and Edmund are also my favorite. Meh to Mrs. Norris and wee spoiler alert, pretty sure Miss Mary Crawford will complicate things. The two sisters remind me of the stepsisters in Cinderella.
…And there it ended-ISH. Tho' she stopped by and I gave her some fantastic transparent post-its, and also ordered some 'highlighter' post-its as we gently continue. She is headed out on a trip, and I started to read again last night, but had a migraine, and an additional post-it was added to a page that says, "Pray tell, quit dropping names. Who is Mr. Anderson?" A name that was mentioned once and then probably never again.
This will be a lengthy expedition through Manny Park. Insomuchas it "fatigues" us ... we will persevere.
