A few years back I was in Orlando Fl, when the 20th century coldest Christmas day after 100 years it the state. The mercurial level was below -35 F and the oranges turned into billiard balls. Disney World had hundred of warming devices trying to preserve the thousand of plants around. Not fun days, with Tallahassee and Tampa roads closed and only the Turnpike south open to go Miami way. A1A and 95 closed too! Brrrrrr |
