Nice article, John. I enjoyed your observations. The climate in our solar system is always changing. We've had our share of ice ages and nice temperatures too. We will probably have more ice ages in the future and more warm spells. That banana plant reminded me of a mango tree I grew in Brooklyn New York about thirty years ago. It grew to 18 inches in doors. In fact, it was so hardy, that when spring came I planted outdoors. It did pretty well during the summer, but when the fall came…. It was over, I couldn’t revive it.
