Thanks for posting this article. I ask myself the question many times. Who am I writing for and why? Like you say, it's always great to get feed back, especially positive. But I also realize I do write for me. Writing is a way to figure out what's going on in life, it helps me frame my thoughts and opinions, even writing fiction! That understanding of life and the joy of the creative process, it's what keeps me writing even into old age. |
