I can almost taste the salt water splattering on my face from those rolling waves.
Have you ever taken your shoes off and walked through the surf? The Ocean does get smaller and you are in the middle of it.
As always the gulls are our friends and couldn't be left out of an ocean walk.

I know what you mean. I've been taking walks in the 'fall' sun after the day warms up. Here in California where we live, the temperatures this week have been hitting the 80s with clear skies. The weather, the sun, the sky, the air, are near perfect at this time of year.
There's this place in Los Angeles where I stop to eat when I drive in. Fat pidgins strut around waiting for handouts and I never fail them by breaking up a few french fries and tossing them out where the pidgins pounce and chase each other off as they dominate over that bit of potato.
You took me right with you along with this descriptive beach write in early Spring. I love the ocean and to see the gulls sweep down for a french fry from me. They are so beautiful walking on the sands too. Can watch the ocean and seagulls for hours on end. Good descriptive write and a great Haiku too.
