All truth, Christine! True friends are always there....no matter what! They turn on the lights when darkness falls!

You are really good at this, Phoebe ! I am impressed with your self awareness and insights, even if you haven't made peace with them all, you can peacefully co-exist. Well done, Monica, I look forward to more ! :-)

Great Blog Christine, and I am learning. Your quotes are apt and informative. Have to get out my re-runs of Friends.

I have never seen one episode of "friends" but I have my own comparisons.

Archie Bunker...big words do not scare me because I like the little ones.

Alfred E Neuman...What me worry? (words to live by)

Ode to a hoarder... (Me)
I need my crescent wrench. It's in the garage I think. On the workbench. Oh man, where's the damn work bench.

The dogs...we get along just fine until they steal my pizza

Friendship. When our world is aglow with joy and rewards of every description. A friend will be there to share in our emotional joy. When Hell and everything depressing and grievous have descended upon us. A friend will be with us giving their all to help us through and see things right in our world again. True friends in life are few. But it only takes one true friend to make our lives a marvelous journey. The "overly clean" obsession is an O.C.D. thing that I too will admit to suffering from. Though that normally is the mark of a methodical person, I am far from that. I admit to being overly analytical in everything I do. Spontaneity only comes easy to me in very special circumstances. My personalty type is defined as a driving analytical. A moniker I do not relish, but it is what it is. Enjoyed you blog my dear friend.I bid you love and peace. Jon Michael

As I read your words, Christine, in all truth I am, in many respects reminded if myself.

Though, as you, the words are humorous and most always get laughs, I have been asked: "Do you always speak what's on your mind?" My major problem with my wife was that words would come before the thought that propelled them from my mouth.I was also the one that would wash, wax and buff the floors.

Now, though, though it may well be the fact that I've lived by myself for the past seven years, though I still like things neat, I find that I now let things go.

I have a large amount of acquaintances but very few that I can actually call "friend".

Other than your intellect, that is far in excess in comparison to me, In all truth, Christine, you seem like a person that could be a near mirror image of myself.

Christine, the more I read your blogs the better I know you and, perhaps more important, the more I appreciate you and your incredible talent. I agree with what you say about Friendships.
Though I have lost a few in recent years, I still have one or two who mean the world to me. When asked to define a friend once, I replied: To me, a good friend is good for loving. -gene.

Ah, who would I compare myself to. Charles Bukowski comes to mind, except I think I write better poetry than did he. Also, if a movie was made of my life I think it would also be more entertaining than his. Since I abhor television I can't think of anyone on it to compare myself with. Of course this isn't supposed to be about "moi" anyway, it is supposed to be about you and your blog. So, 'scuse-a-me, please.

I, too, have a tendency to spout off the innermost workings of my heart, many times without putting my brain in gear. I used to be a neat-freak, but have allowed the slob in me to come out of the closet. You are really getting into your blogs, Christine, and I am personally enjoying them. Because I consider you a cyber-friend I am allowed, by your own words, to know you better, and I kinda like that.

So blog-on, blog-on.
