I love your thought about being ageless spirits... that is my belief. :)

Blessings and Love,

A most thought provoking read, Christine. One to study to grasp the full meaning of that elusive thing called time. What an accurate and powerful writer you are!

Your scientific knowledge is pleasingly accurate. You are asking so many questions that a left brain are like me does not generally contemplate. For I am like A Square and rely on the knowledge at hand at the present time.
Speaking of time, if you or I could be suddenly transported to the year 2100, we would both marvel at the revelations in science and scientific understanding. While I believe our intelligence as human beings reached its peak at the end of the hunting and gathering era, when we domesticated plants and animals and invented science and philosophy, the technology we possess now enables us to explore in ways we couldn't before. Physicists are now contemplating seven or eight dimensions.
Perhaps the greatest accomplishment of all will be when we understand what it means to be aware–to know who we are and why we are here. Thanks for touching on this, most grand quest for the essence of us all.

"Lux Aurumque" Beautiful crescendos
of calm surrenders in peaceful
moments of time.
Your writings gives one to
grasp an understanding of the
time we share in movement, yet
each of us a time within.

i really like this blog . I am still laughing at what Patrick wrote.
what we are not wired to do, so to say.yes, thought provoking!! ;) M
individual perceptions vary the possibilities exponentially -- the laws of probability further enhance them -- then when you add in chaos the excitation of possible permutations becomes astounding -- it is our menial intelligence if the whole that makes what we SEE confusing or exasperating -- we are so self limiting and limited -- I bid you joy love and peace my dear friend -- Jon Michael
One of my favorite subjects well synthesized.Time like is a rubber band, barely crawling at work on a Friday afternoon. By the way, my garage is a classic black hole. It's packed so full of crap light can just barely escape.
Quantum physics offer further titillating evidence of something that all of us should realise in the course of our reflective musings on our selves and the cosmos: namely that although we humming beans are fantastically complex creations, the sum total of what we are (and know) pales against the backdrop of that vast and unknowable infinity we exist within. In other words, chances are very good that 'everything we know (or think we know with some certitude) is wrong'. Take that typical three brain cell human bottom-dweller we encounter each day in legions throughout the course of our lives (you know, the one who is glued to his/her cellphone while driving in rush-hour traffic, rtc.)...take his/her intelligence (social, emotional, intellectual, what have you) and multiply it exponentially by several bazillions. Compared to the greater possibilities that may exist way out there in time and space that transcend our wildest imaginings, human life is really no more astute, collectively and comparatively speaking, than primordial slime mold at the dawn of biological history. My, my, what a comforting thought (NOT!). At any rate, all of this is indeed quite overwhelming, which is why one of my personal favorite aphorisms has always been Socrates' imortal quote: "The truly wise man (woman) is he (she) who knows he (she) knows nothing." Another nice post, Christine! Cerebral comestibles! Yum! Aloha mai e, -K.
Absolutely fascinating, Christine...loved this! And I can see how the music would have brought you to tears! Awesome!
Hugs,

Very nicely said, Christine. I enjoyed this piece.
Christine, I know when I was younger time did not fly as it does today- and I don't know if it is because I'm older
but my brain thinks young...my point is
I think you are right when it comes to time. That time does affect us differently. Loved what you wrote!
Always,
Deborah
I sit on clouds all day long
Now I know
I can look for you
When you come floating along
Your my muse in a song
My comet come and in a flash gone.
Time ticks away for everyone.
