"Reducing Stress for a Healthier Life"

Stress can certainly take a toll. I read a scientific study about the brains of people that had high stress jobs. After these people died, their brains were examined and a lot of damage was found. Another study used MRIs to moniter activity inside brains during high stress. The results from the two studies demonstrated that the damage from long term stress can cause brain damage similar to a serious stroke.
I was a classroom teacher for thirty years and had many health problems during those years. Almost all of them cleared up after I retired. I had a bump on my head that bothered me and it went away. I had asthma like breathing symtoms. I used to have terrible tooth decay. Seven cavities two years before I retired in just one year. I've been out of the classroom for going on three years and haven't had any problems with my teeth since leaving that profession.
I did not know oatmeal or grainy cereals relieve stress. I don't always eat cereals for breakfast, but do love them, especially the oatmeal. I knew oatmeal helps heart disease etc. but thanks for sharing these stress tips. Much appreciated.
Excellent advise Jill again thank you for sharing.
