"Thankgiving thoughts"

Reflecting back on this year thus far made me recognize many blessings in disguise and otherwise that don't seem deserved in any way whatsoever. First, I have to give thanks for the great privilege of being able to get out of bed at least 325 times during 2015 to-date. Next, I give thanks for a pair of eyes to visualize LED screens well enough to earn a modest living from web content writing. Despite having far worse than minimum level of legal blindness with 20/300 vision - thanks THANKFULLY correctable to 20/10 with thick-lensed bifocals.
Next, I give thanks and glory for such a good God-given mind that's consistently scored within less than 5 points of minimum 150-genius level on every IQ test since elementary school.
Next, there's reasonably good health. Although I'm getting along in years a bit, and will be a half-century old in less than 1 month on December 17,2015.
There's so much more I could say that would fill hundreds of pages and consume tons of time, which is especially precious at the instant moment.
HOWEVER, I just realized yet another pattern from simply having written this brief post. All the things I feel most grateful to have are taken for granted by a vast majority of fellow human beings. Which in turn sparked still another dawning revelation. Were it not for such "basic," "simple" things as good health and eyesight, etc., nothing else in life would matter one whit. After all, how can you accomplish anything positive and worthwhile that seems so much worthier of gratitude - without even having enough functional ability to perform the essentially vital preliminary "W-ork" that NEVER comes before "SUCCESS." Except, of course, in the dictionary - which you couldn't even read due to blindness.
