How very true this is, I have friends who don't have two ha'pennies to rub together, but what the do have is LOVE.

Quite true indeed. I also have seen some of my friends who have "settled" (for someone) ... in the opposite convention - in other words, they said, "Oh, she is so [pick your characteristic]" - and then they later find out that the 'shell' or the 'materialistic wealth' are, in fact, immaterial - and that they have, in effect, settled... for something they [thought] they wanted.

So this really strikes home for me. Thank you for sharing. -- Jeff

I've found that it's difficult to ever get a sip of the hot chocolate when every time I turn around...someone's run off with my cup.

I'll stick with coffee, and I'll drink it straight from the pot.

You are right on this one. True happiness cannot be bought. You have to make your own and your one sunshine. The best isn't always the greatest even. Making something out of nothing and using resources available are more personable to us then bought gifts. I could go on and on but I won't.
