"By 1947, nearly half of all the college students in America were veterans. That program cost $14.5 billion, and more than half of the nation's 15 million World War II veterans participated in some sort of government sponsored educational program."

And didn't those Veterans repay that program cost with they productive contributions and taxes over the years? As will all Veterans, now...past...and future!

Someone explain to me why a Congressman gets U$S 15.000 per month of retirement when a War Veteran gets only 1.000 per month?
Someone explain, why relatives of 9/11 victims get 4.700.000 pay off but the relatives of a fallen soldier in action gets 6.000 for his dead and 1.700 for his burial?
Are anyone left to be proud? I know I am not!
