Thank you Mr. President, it's past time for some transparency in the Veteran's Admin. they seem to think they are God and not accountable to anyone. Maybe it's a small step that will lead to larger ones, I'm thankful for even and inch of hope. I appreciate you Ed.

Yep. The LA Times today covered the Veteran's Education Act and how, even though approved is less than 1% current to funding the individual Vet's applications for tuition. Bunch of idiots! Patrick

Mr. ed, I agree. This is about time. My father was a Korean War veteran and died from kidney disease. He had a difficult time at the VA Hospital in Johnson City Tennessee. These veterans deserve better and I am thrilled they finally got it under President Obama. The president will not get credit for it from Republicans like the one in the comment prior to me, they don't give him credit for ANYTHING. In the long run, it does not matter, they will remain at 30% in the polls with such negative attitudes. Thank you!

In this time of recession and people panicking about losing their jobs...it will not be a good time to turn the screws all the way in to EVERY one working at VA, from the General to the one flushing their latrines? Back-load our asses! you have 48 hours to clear your load or you will be queuing at the next soup kitchen. Period!
