"First came the 21 Gun Salute, then Taps" this brings back memories of my Dad's funeral. He was the Police Chief of our City and a veteran of the Korean War. I was greatful for his military funeral and it was a comfort to my mother. I have my Dad's flag and medals in a display case over my desk as I write this. I feel honored to have had him as my Dad every time I look at his Captains Bars and medals, not to mention his flag. |
