And one sad part about all of this is that the illegal invasion of Iraq was totally unnecessary and completely avoidable. Of course, there are people who profit from War and they don't care about anything else, least of all, our soldiers and veterans. To them, money is more important than human life.

Ed, your article, reflects on an attitude about those that serve, that has existed as far back as the Civil War...We send them off to war, they return, but they, the veterans, come home damaged and are forced to vanish to a place, remaining out of sight, thus out of our everyday minds. May those veterans NEVER be forgotten.

Norway, the returning wounded professional soldiers will be not accepted for re-enlistment when their contract ends as they are considered "damaged items" not fit 100% for fight anymore. |
