I know how it feels. My cat had a little problem that required giving her a bath. It started out fine and I got her clean, but then I pushed my luck and tried to make it a whole bath. She was not putting up with that. She leaped out of the tub and ran to the bedroom where she hid until she was dry. She would not trust me after that, running to my husband for protection. I was so sad. I had to make amends by bringing out her favorite brush and coaxing her to a good brushing. After that she was willing to trust me again.
