I don't know why some get more hits than others. It might be how well you promote & how often you comment on others' sites. Cheers

I'm new to this site. JC, you were nice enough to review one of my stories. Thank You. I see you and others referring to "hits" vs. reviews. Where do you find out how many "hits" you have had on a story?

ok, one note. a friend who likes to hop on AD and read a story or two on her lunch break says that she never logs on, so can not make a review...so maybe a Like button for the lazy bones out there? h-m-m-m.

well, i am with Lonnie and think it might be worth suggesting a thumbs up button, ect. or something like that. or...jsut to be different from face book suggest the OK hand gesture, you know the one with the thumb and index finger making a little O. h--m-m-m. Lonnie, wanna go for it??

Yes, good point. I get hundreds of hits sometimes and one review from a group of people who reciprocate on the review level. But 99% of readers don't comment,
Maybe AD should have button which automate a comment such that the writer knows the reader appreciated the write. A "life button" like facebook would be nice.
Let's suggest this to the webmaster?

Yes, interesting one, I guess I normally review about 75% of reads, but only recieve about 10% reviews of people who have read my work. I guess people are encouraging and supportive when they review and only review if they really like it. Maybe my work is not that great, but can assure you thats not the case with you. I suppose some people enjoy reading but don't feel the need to review. I think also that people who are not members are not able to review so maybe that accounts for some. God bless. Baz

Yep, just one of those great unanswered questions on which to ponder. I'm sure you've raised a point that every AD member has asked themselves at one time or another. If you find the answer - publish it! John

I've wondered the same thing, J. C. I guess a lot of people just come to our sites to have a look see and perhaps don't want to leave a review... I've never quite figured this out. Joy Hale
