Some things fall on people more than others and they are left to carry the ball per se. It seems they are willing and cannot say no, so they go on an on and tire themselves out.

We shouldn't live in such a way that the gods will punish us for our trickery like they did with Sysiphus by making him push that stone up the mountain side.
Yes, we should "make" the time to do what we know we should do.
