I like your formula for happiness, which, of course, is what "pursuit of" is all about. The dog rescue endeavor is commendable. Having recently visited several, I can say that their personalities are as fragile as those of their human counterparts. Our Jack Russell Terrier, Hearty, after three months, has not warmed up to me, even though she adores Linda. I think she must have been terribly abused by a man in her past life as a "brood" bitch at a puppy factory. We are making progress, but it is ever so slow. I look forward to your posts.
