My dear lovely man, I am Irish on my mothers side and my father was an Englishman, both whom immigrated here. I did not have the opportunity to know either as (if you read my wee story), I was adopted out as an infant.
However, what is innate within you (dark or light)should be shared. Not only is it therapeutic, you can share your own lovely visions and thoughts that many can relate to. We are not always a product of whence we came, but we are all loving souls. And talent will be inherited in some form genetically :)

(P.S. my adoptive grandmama was Irish it is she who gave me the beauty of the world and the light I share... and lol my lilt although probably inherent)
