Unfortunately technology has grasped many.
It has its pros and cons, like airing how we feel here, reaching out to others in our own way. Reaching a much larger crowd than we did in the time before electricity. On the pro side it is truly a good tool.
Now on the con side it keeps our children indoors glued to it playing games, it has taken away romance in that we are no longer the social creatures we used to be. Instead being captured here. It has brought on obesity by gluing ourselves here instead of what all used to do before technology. All this includes Telly which I rarely look at.
We have forgotten much, socially we are withdrawn and even do not help our fellow man when in need (I do, I always do). The thought has been in this era, oh someone else will help.
So it's not just about passion, everything encompasses it. Society is move fast get done now, and move on to the next activity.
Just imagine how lost all would be if there were no computer or Telly :) They might have to actually socialize! Hmm what a nice concept...
