Sometimes being shut off from the rest of the world is a pain to people who think of themselves as ordinary. I bumped into Lee Marvin in a drug store. He stopped in for a pack of cigarettes. I lit one up looked at him and said "Lee are you still smoking those awful things?" He laughed. Said he was hooked on them. I said "But seriously, you did a pretty good job on that movie--the one about a dirty dozen something or others." Another laugh. He pointed to the car outside. Gotta go. I'm double parked."
