Wow, what a beautiful blog.
I've already sent it around my circle, but I think I can post this one at work.
The fact that the powers that be play games with my memories is one of the few buttons that get pushed which turn on my self hatred.
"How can I not even remember...?"
"But I clearly remember..."
This blog lets me off the hook.
Time to get back to the wonder of memory and the gifts it brings.
The other day somebody played The Star Spangled Banner- and without a thought I was back at Yankee Stadium listening to my Dad's tenor voice make magic out of that piece- and turn the heads of all around us, and I could lean on him again.
