It must have been hard to relate to your mother and accept her stern and unpleasant ways.
I remembered what I said that may have helped you. I'm glad for that. Sometime I may write about my dad, but not right now, only because it will take more time than I want to put into it right now.
I'm sorry for your loss, because of course it is a loss no matter what flaws our parents had. Sometimes we need to grieve for the absence of a better relationship throughout our lives, as well as just the obvious loss.
I know you trust God, and I'm thankful for your presence here, knowing He is using you as His rep.
