"Cleaning Out Our Closet"

Many times I've cleaned out "closets" only to refill them! Each time we think we cannot do without that precious item that we NEVER use..just think we might one day! Then you lose your beloved husband and think you can't breathe again...your mother is murdered by fools, and you wonder "why"...and your home is in jeopardy of foreclosure...soon...the "things" just don't mean very much... It's the wonderful memories that we place in that private personal vault of lifetime memories that becomes priceless... Treasures are nice...but they are certainly only for the moment.. the true treasures are those we build in our hearts and minds...the peace and thanksgiving that we generate when others speak with us; or look at us... that special cleansing is not just one of internal purging..it shows on the surface...that smile that gives others hope, that uplifts...and without God, we are nothing but bodies going thru the motions aren't we?
