The best way to represent yourself as a "Christian", is to real try and imitate Christ by example, pour yourself out for his work, share with others what was given to you, impart knowledge and good will. Your not a Christian by your words, but by your works in the truth.

I continue to say what your Dad said so many years ago. "It's by the love you show...". That to me includes how we live, walk, talk. Thank you for reminding me what a Christian should not say. As always you bless me.

It's true. Once someone asked Mrs Lincoln, a difficult character, who was the most Christian (Christ-like?) person she'd ever known. She replied why, it was Mr Lincoln. I can imagine! He sure put up with a lot having her as a wife, not to mention losing 3 of his sons. But, He "disposes". (Here they say man proposes, God disposes)

Being a good Christian also pertains to showing and representing as an example, not preaching your belief and reminding others (who are not Christian) why they don't want to take part. To show one what it's like to be a part of God, without the pressure, will also guide others to join your faith. I agree with you, Eddie. Thank you. |
