The "Christian" or follower/admirer of Christ can do only that which Christ approves of & allows. However, for those who aren't Christians and/or have no desire to be, the rule of "equality" must be applied; therefore, gay people should be allowed to marry because those others you just named- fornicators, idolaters, adulterers, abusers, thieves, covetous, drunkards, revilers & extortioners- all are allowed to marry (by govts.) & do, indeed, marry. It's only my take.
