With the last name of MacPherson, I trying to keep the tradition going. We traced our name back to Toronto to the mid-19th century and then it gets a little fuzzy after that. Not sure when our ancestors made their way to the new world. There is a theory A MacPherson was part of an expedition in Canada in the 18th century and settled in Toronto. We probably came from there. I do own a bottle of Cluny scotch made by our ancestral family. Hope to make it to Scotland one day.
