I am on Amazon.ca and it won't let me go to your page.
BTW... I am writing my first novel too. A pre-medieval time novel. I didn't play any Dungeon and Dragon games, but I know it was very exciting. For I heard the story could go in many different directions depending on which way you turn.
The story I write is off the top of my head. I write whenever the inspiration strikes me. The storylines come to me as I am writing the story. Sometimes the story seems political, and yet sometimes it seems to be Fantasy.
Anyway... The story is the Kingdom of Largo. I have already written 26 chapters, and I'm writing Chapter 27 as of today. My chapters are between 3,400 and 4,000 words. Chapter 26 was a bit longer. It has over 4,200 words.
I have double-checked google. The normal word counts for a chapter in a novel is between 3,000 and 4,000 words. So, I suppose my chapters' word counts are average.
I have removed my chapters from this authorsden, downloaded them down to a book format, getting them ready to go into print after one final editing. In another few chapters, Volume One of the Kingdom of Largo will be completed.
I have more Volumes after this. Like you, it's my first endeavour to write a novel. I am all for it no matter how long it takes me, I will have at least 3 Volumes.
