Lol... didn't realize that you have to click the 'Comments' link. Now I'm going to have to check the rest of my blogs.

I like this idea since I was thinking that there is one good, one bad, and one neutral kingdom. I was trying to think of ideas for a third party of adventurers, but your idea makes it easier to have a war break out, making the heroes' job that much harder.

Great idea! I think you could include a character like maybe a novis priest set out on a quest to derail the dark one, but whom unwittingly is a tool for the dark one to solidify the quest that he has given the characters. This church could in this plot not be one installed upon the world by a good force but one made by the dark one as part of his millenia long plan to bring about destruction. And there could also be a church percieved as blasphemous/evil but that is actually the good church painted evil by the dark one. A ’villain’ could be sent out from that church whom is sent out to save the world, but has everyone after him/her and will have to work really hard to stay alive. But with each piece of the dark one freed will gain more credability and that will stand together with the rest of the characters for the final battle.
