Foreign customers are those who have deposits in U.S. banks. They must be protected or all foreigners worldwide with money in U.S. banks will panic and withdraw. Can you imagine the catastrophe if that scenario were to happen? We aren't usually aware just how many foreigners do have savings in our country's banks. |
