Interesting thought...However, as every politician... democrat and republican knows.. Corporations and business really don't any pay taxes...They just collect them for the government from the poor and middle class directly or in the form of higher prices. So when you raise taxes on corporations and businesses, you are just taxing the poor and middle class more. Is it really a good time to increase taxes on the poor and middle class in the middle of a depression? Well, I guess if you can't afford to pay a dollar for an orange, then it doesn't really matter if price goes up to three dollars. |
